I did not enjoy this read. I just don't believe in being furious at a person one day and the next marrying him?!?!? Someone wrote that if it was a longer book where he swept her off her feet gradually. That I would read. But here when she sudden was marrying him? I couldn't even read the ending.

How does a character go from angry and hurt to getting married in one day. I just don't buy it. This story asks you to believe something that just isn't possible. It's bad enough to have your fiancé call off your wedding to study birds, but when she finds out the real reason she is ok with it the very next day and planning to marry him? Sorry just didn't work. If he was so unhappy without her where has he been for the last YEAR. Just waiting for his parents to set this chance meeting up. If she was that important and he realized he made a mistake why didn't he come after her. Just so unrealistic. Leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
  • I agree with Valerie (SPOILER ALERT)

The story is too short to go from I hate him to we're getting married again in a few days/pages. You could pull it off in a longer book with him trying to win her back for a while, making grand and small gestures to sweep her off her feet, but it's too hard for the reader to accept the transition in a short. It's totally forced and left me hating their families and her.

This book is awesome. I really liked it and I could tell that they were going to get back together but I still liked it. It was a twist on the old romantic love story to give it the modern flair

I was so mad at this short story! Heather wanted the Fairytale wedding like lots of girls and would never have settled for a small spur of the moment wedding in a sundress! With a man who left her to have sex with other women?!! No way! I would not have cared if they ended up together but not in that way! She originally had a Vera Wang - you don't settle! Let me not even get into how she didn't yell and scream at her family for setting this all up! Or her sister blabbing her mouth. Not good and I usually always can at the very least enjoy a bad story - this just pissed me off!
